Homemade Cheer Sticks

Hello girls / i!! Finally, do not seem true, I start with the recipes! In this holiday season I want to stay home and take the opportunity to pick up the pace.

To begin with, an American recipe, straight from the house of my American professor! The recipe is the one used by his mom ... High risk then! But the result was perfect, as evidenced by a text message from the guinea pig: "But your banana bread is excellent! How did you do ???". He told me that is exactly the same as that of his mother. Exam passed!

The recipe now! (As I made it, I had no buttermilk and I did not add the nuts, by directive of Prof!).

Ingredients:

1 1 / 4 cup sugar

1 / 2 cup butter, softened 2 eggs

3

ripe bananas 1 / 2 cup plain yogurt 1 tsp vanilla

(I did not put me seems)

1 1 / 2 cup flour 1 tsp

baking soda 1 tsp salt

Preheat the oven to 170-180 degrees.

Work butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and mounted with electric whips. Add mashed bananas, yogurt and vanilla. Beat well.

Add the flour, baking soda and salt and mix.

Pour the mixture into a buttered loaf pan (I fund a little bit of butter and then spreads well well with a brush).

Bake on the second floor of the oven, from the bottom up. Cook for an hour and a quarter with heat underneath it all, but keep an eye on! After 50 'I put the heat both above and below. Valid proof of toothpicks.

Cool for 10 minutes then remove from the mold and let it cool on a rack.

Wait at least 2 hours before slicing.

It keeps very well if you wrap tightly in foil. You can also put it in the fridge to keep it more.

Dried Tongue During Sleep

Memories of Thailand ... The best medicine

I kept you waiting, as always, but forgive me while I leave the oven cooks a postcard (or rather by, I'll be generous even if the risk of hate me: there I leave a bit 'more!) From the place of Our first Christmas holidays!

Thailand is a place that offers different options depending on whether you are looking for fun, relaxation or adventure. We opted for the escape from the bustle and half billion people in China, and we enjoyed a clear sea, a strong sun and shade of palm trees under which we drank the coconut milkshake at least once a day (correct ... Occhiolino).

At 18 we had an appointment with the sunset, and sometimes we ran on a scooter to not lose it. I do not know why, but both go crazy for the sunset, we were to look at the sun every second of its descent, always looking for new places from which to enjoy the show.

then Bangkok is unique: it has a special charm. That has not explored because we were tired and his time was short, but it is certainly one of the most interesting. And 'no hurry to see and discover, to understand. A bustling city but at the same time enveloped in an almost unreal, as if a hidden reality it another night.

Thailand has also a wonderful culinary tradition. Behind each plate, behind every act or instrument for its preparation, there is a curious and fascinating history.

And Thai food is also a favorite from my Professor Bear, so with the enthusiasm of both I enrolled in a course of intensive kitchen one afternoon (it was the only solution). I enjoyed

lot, and said without any presumption, it was the time I ate better, maybe because I could adjust the amount of pepper to my taste (for me most of the Thai dishes are too hot even if good), it will be because we cooked all together and everything was so beautiful and colorful!

The shots below are a gift from Sophie, a 'links' course, who kindly sent me the pictures because - yes, believe it's true - my camera died on the third day during a trip in a kayak during which we are likely to remain at sea without power (we have miscalculated the distance of an island and we return against the current).

We are back and I felt like crying. Of sun, sea, beach and sunsets I would not have enough.

My man is always the most fantastic and sweet, and now I dare to even jokingly call my Teddy Bear and hairy spupazzarmelo great, and he laughs and makes pampered like a child! New details are

It took me a bit 'to make then I saw all the other plants and I understand it, and I moved. Before leaving, I had brought my plants at home by Professor Bear, so that our friend could go to water them all together while we were not there.

Once back I always put the re-removal because the plants are 8, and should do more laps, and then, was too mafan.

And he, while I was at work, has given me everything, and I added the orchid. I'm terrified of dying because it needs a lot of indirect light and my house is not at all bright.

Ok I'll stop now. Monday is a holiday for the Chinese New Year, and since we do not do to go to Haerbin, I will have enough time to start writing again in full swing and post some 'recipe!
